History

Toyota Motor Corporation is a multinational corporation headquartered in Japan, and the world's largest automaker. Toyota employs approximately 320,808 people worldwide. The company was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937 as a spinoff from his father's company Toyota Industries to create automobiles. Three years earlier, in 1934, while still a department of Toyota Industries, it created its first product, the Type A engine, and, in 1936, its first passenger car, the Toyota AA.

Founding of Toyota Tsusho

NV Toyota Tsusho Europe SA (TTESA) was established in 1968 and is part of Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC). Brussels office is the headquarters of 7 branches in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Czech and Turkey. Toyota is headquartered in Toyota City and Nagoya (both in Aichi), and in Tokyo. In addition to manufacturing automobiles, Toyota provides financial services through its division Toyota Financial Services and also builds robots.

Global network of Toyota Tsusho

For over half a century since its establishment in 1948, Toyota Tsusho Corporation has been building a global sales network as the only trading company of the Toyota Motor Group. Today, we are involved in undertaking a wide range of businesses from trading, manufacturing and processing to retail and services throughout the world. With a turnover of 862.5 million Euro (FY2007), we are a recognized market leader in the automotive sector, planning further business expansion in the non-automotive sector.
